Scooter trouble shooting: Part 1 " Poor Acceleration or reduced speed or poor throttle response"

Many scooter users frequently face this problem. Scooters become sluggish, out of full power or may seem jammed on acceleration. lets explain the causes and solution.

 Troubleshooting

1. Check tyre pressure : If low, Check for puncture/ leaking valve.

    If OK-

2. Check wheels for free rotation: If not free, check binding brakes and adjust it.

    If wheels are free- 

3. Check spark plug for fitment: If loose, tighten it.

    If tight enough-

4. Check air filter for clogging: If clogged, clean it.

    If clean-

5. cause might be: 

• valve leakage
• engine compression weak
• faulty transmission system
