Which engine oil should we use on gearless scooters?? Answer is here!!

There are a lot of myths about the scooter engine oils. But the fact is almost applicable for all scooters. Today we are going to discuss on which engine oil must be better for your scooter.

Recommended engine oil Grade for most of the scooters is 10w40. Now question is, which brand? Mineral, semi synthetic or synthetic??

We recommend mineral engine oil for the break in period (1st 2000km), then use synthetic or semi synthetic. Whatever the type is, mineral or synthetic the drain interval should be.
At 100km, then 300km, 800km, 1300km, 1800km then every 1000km.

Recommended engine oil available in bd for 1st 2000km:
Castrol magnatec 10w40.
This is the only mineral oil available in BD having 10w40 grade. It is a car engine oil. Despite that it gives a fabulous performance in scooters. Scooters have seperate engine and transmission oil thats why it can be used in scooter. This oil is not recommended for manual motorcycles.

Recommended engine oil after 2000km: semi synthetic or synthetic.
Synthetic engine oil having 10w40 grade and available in BD are-
Shell advance ultra 10w40

Motul 7100 10w40

Mannol classic 10w40

Mobil1 racing 4t 10w40
